On Monday morning, 5/18/1444 AH, in the presence of the university Vice- Presidents and Deans of colleges and supporting deanships, Prof. Abdulrahman Altalhi, the President of the PSAU, inaugurated the self-service platform (Mawared Plus). Prof Altalhi praised the unremitting efforts made by the university represented by the Deanship of Information Technology and Distance Education in order to improve the quality of the services it provides to all beneficiaries and keep pace with the development in digital transformation.
Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Daej, Dean of IT and Distance Learning, explained that the self-service platform (Mawared Plus) serves as a unified platform for all self-services provided by the university to its faculty and staff members. It aims to improve spending efficiency by dispensing with some paid software licenses, relying on internally developed solutions and software, improving the users’ experience, and enhancing the quality of digital services. Dr. Al-Daej stressed that this inauguration is added to the series of achievements achieved by the university's IT team, which confirms the university's leadership's continuous support for all initiatives and qualitative solutions in digital transformation.
