The Digital Content Management team oversees the primary content on the university's website, supervises its associated websites, converts, creates, and enhances digital content in different formats (video, audio, print, etc.), and handles editorial and translation duties.
This department comprises three sections/units:
Portal Management Section:
• Oversee the content of the university's primary e-portal by creating, revising, overseeing, and refreshing content in both Arabic and English languages.
• Address all university news, events, and engagements.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative units within the university to offer essential technical assistance, and conduct workshops for unit representatives (editors) on effective website management practices.
• Monitor the content of unit websites and generate reports to enhance the quality and enrichment of the content.
• Provide support to relevant units, aid them, and address their requirements in managing e-content and resolving operational hurdles.
• Engage in initiatives to enhance the visibility of the university's websites on global search engines.
• Edit the content of the General Directorate of IT's website and oversee its maintenance and updates.
Design Unit:
• Transform and digitize diverse forms of media and materials, including text, images, audio, and physical items, into appropriate digital formats following industry standards.
• Create instructional and educational videos to support learning objectives.
• Execute graphic design and develop infographics.
• Produce videos and design motion graphics.
• Design printed materials like brochures and reports.
• Develop readable and visual manuals to guide users through electronic services and systems.
• Formulate advertising campaigns and design social media-related advertisements.
• Conduct video editing tasks.
• Enhance the digital content of the university.
Editing and Translation Unit:
• Revises, monitors, and refreshes the content of the university's primary portal.
• Translates documents, policies, and administrative forms.
• Converts system interfaces and management services into different languages.
• Translates and linguistically reviews management service guides.
• Translates Arabic content for digital content management and texts from various departments under the General Directorate of IT, reviewing them linguistically or rephrasing as needed.
