Represented by Deanship of IT and Distance Learning, PSAU obtained ISO ISO22301:2019 Certificate in its 2019 version. The certificate of business continuity was given by the Professional Evaluation and Certification Board (PECB) after the fulfillment of the international standard and procedures by the Deanship.
Moreover, Prof. Abdulaziz Al Hamid Rector of PSAU stressed the importance of applying the highest international standards that serve the security of the digital infrastructure and environment of the University and comply with the 2030 Vision.
Furthermore, Vice-Rector Dr. Abdullah Jumaa assured that this achievement supports the University’s current and future plan regarding infrastructure risk-minimizing and epact limitation. The plan aims for the continuity of the University’s services in case of crisis. Dr. Jumaa clarified that PSAU is the second government entity in the kingdom that obtains this certificate in its updated version of 2019. However, the university has obtained this certificate in its 2012 version last year.

The Deanship actions reflected well during COVID-19 crisis. I addition, Dr. Alnowaiser expressed his appreciation to Rector for the continuous support to the Deanship’s goals and its pursuance to the execution of the digital transformation plan. Also, he thanked Rector for helping the Deanship to overcome the obstacles and following-up the Deanship’s projects.
