On Sunday, January 21, 2024, the President of the University, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, received in his office the General Director of IT, Mr. Walid Al-Sulaitin, along with the directors of departments and units affiliated with the General Administration of IT. The meeting was attended by the University's Vice President, Dr. Raed Al-Yousef.
During the meeting, Mr. Walid Al-Sulaitin provided a brief overview of the administration's annual report, highlighting the achievements, goals, and projects accomplished during the year 2023. The annual report included various figures, statistics, achievements, works, aspirations, goals, and projects achieved during the year compared to the preceding year of 2022. The rate of achieving goals and projects averaged 89.61% for 64 goals and projects. Additionally, the strategic plan and future aspirations of the administration for 2024 were reviewed, focusing on the implementation of 72 goals and projects in the field of digital transformation.
Mr. Walid Al-Sulaitin commended the unlimited support and gracious care received by the administration from the President, Vice President, and other university leaders. The General Administration of IT seeks to develop an ambitious technological system that serves the university in its digital transformation journey towards excellence in providing unique digital services across various academic, administrative, and technical domains, keeping pace with the digital acceleration witnessed by most educational sectors locally and globally.
At the end of the meeting, the President and the Vice President received the annual report of the administration. The President praised the content of the report and the achievements of the administration during the previous year, expressing hopes for further progress and development for the General Administration of IT in its journey towards digital transformation and in providing distinguished digital services that meet the satisfaction of beneficiaries.
