First, Vice-Deanship
1- Planning and Quality Office
It is responsible for developing business for all systems and technologies at the university, through the development of new e-services, and periodic review of the existing services that may lead to the improvement or replacement of such services.
2- Services Management Office
It works on the governance of all digital services provided by the Deanship to the community of service beneficiaries. The Office adopted a methodology for managing information technology services (ITIL), starting with the design of services to be consistent with the needs of the clients and achieving the objectives of the digital transformation plan. It works through transferring the service design to actual use by the engineering of service development with projects and internal initiatives or through university partners according to the approved standard methodology ( PMI). The office aims to achieve continuous Improvement of Services (CSI). The Office duties are implemented through approved roles such as Information Incident Management, and Problem Management.
3- Administration of Client Services
It aims to build a strong partnership between the Deanship and the university’s entities. It is keen to find an effective way to communicate with all university members to facilitate their access to electronic services. It focuses on raising and developing services and systems by analyzing the data acquired through a range of different communication channels, which contributes to improving the experience and satisfaction of the beneficiaries.
Second, Vice-Deanship of E-Services
- Applications Administration
The main core of the Applications Administration is developing and operating all systems and e-services for the entire university’s sectors and clients. It operates its services through a specialized team or through contracted companies for big projects.
The Administration has for departments (Analysis, Service Quality, Development, and Programming, and Operation). These departments work in harmony with each other from the beginning of the service life cycle until it reaches the beneficiary of the service. It also provides technical support for the services through the activated technical support channels at the Deanship.
2- Infrastructure Administration
It works on establishing and operating the infrastructure that contributes to the continuity and integration of the services and applications. It also provides the necessary protections for the network, applications, and users, besides, providing wired and wireless network services, telephone services, security monitoring, virtual laboratories, high-speed Internet lines, and linking branches to the main headquarters.
Third, Vice-Deanship of E-Learning
1- Digital Content Administration
The Digital Content Administration is concerned with the design, production, and enrichment of the digital content in the university in its various forms such as video, audio, publications, and others.
2- E-Learning Office
E-learning Office manages systems and services provided for university members that are used in e-learning processes. It aims for developing the educational process in the university.
