The Deanship undertakes several important procedures and policies aimed at preserving, documenting and analyzing university data according to the following:
- Backup operations: It is a procedure through which the policy of backup operations of data and applications is established on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Creating an environment that matches the real environment: It is a procedure through which databases are created with data that matches the reality and new software is developed on them so that the programmers team is separated from the users.
- Data compatibility and exchange: the requirements of the systems are studied so that data can be exchanged between them. For example, the learning management system (Blackboard) has been linked to the student information system so that the data of the courses, the academic divisions offered, the students registered with them and their faculty members are provided.
- Linking electronic administrative services to the resource management system so that a range of services provided to university employees are displayed.
