The Office of Data and AI at the General Administration of IT, PSAU, in collaboration with the Saudi Data and AI Authority 'Sdaya,' organized today, Wednesday, November 15, 2023, an introductory meeting on national data management, its governance, and the protection of personal data. The event took place at 1:00 PM on the stage of the College of Engineering and Computer Science for male and female students.
The meeting aims to introduce national data and its importance to students of the College of Engineering and Computer Science and students of the Law Department at the College of Business Administration, enabling them to develop their capabilities in this field.
The meeting included several topics presented by a group of specialists in the field of national data management. They addressed key terms and definitions related to national data during the digital transformation programs for Vision 2030. The presentation also covered prominent professional certifications and required positions in this field.
Students praised the topics covered in the meeting, considering it a good opportunity to understand the importance of national data and its governance, as well as to acquire the necessary skills to work in this field.
The organization of this meeting is part of the university's efforts, represented by the General Administration of Information Technology, to prepare and qualify distinguished national cadres capable of contributing to enhancing the digital economy and achieving the Vision 2030 of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
