On Wednesday, May 17, 2023, PSAU officially launched its new mobile app, “Mawared,” offering faculty and staff faster and more convenient access to a wide range of administrative e-services. The app was inaugurated by PSAU President, Prof. Abdulrahman Al-Talhi, as part of the university’s broader digital transformation efforts. Designed to improve service efficiency and enhance the user experience, Mawared provides streamlined access to essential digital services using modern, secure technology. Mawared complements the existing Mawared Plus self-service platform (mawaredplus.psau.edu.sa) and integrates with other key systems such as Tawasol and PSAU’s IT Service Management System. Through its user-friendly design, the app helps employees complete administrative tasks with greater speed, accuracy, and ease. Commenting on the launch, Mr. Walid Al-Sulaitin, Director of the General Administration of IT, stated: “The Mawared app is built on key principles: simplicity, speed, and efficiency. It offers a single gateway to essential services and reflects PSAU’s commitment to delivering a modern, integrated digital experience for our staff and faculty.” He added that the development team relied on advanced tools and technologies to build the app, resulting in a high-quality solution packed with smart, practical features. Prof. Al-Talhi extended his appreciation to the Deanship of IT and Distance Learning for their outstanding efforts, noting that the app represents a significant step forward in the university’s digital journey. “Mawared is part of a broader e-service ecosystem that provides an interactive, integrated platform for all university employees,” he said. The Mawared app is now available for download on both the App Store and Google Play.
