Governance and Compliance Unit

The Governance and Compliance Unit at the General Administration of Information Technology at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University works to enhance the digital governance framework and ensure that services and technical systems comply with relevant controls, policies, and national and regulatory standards.
The Unit seeks to develop an effective governance framework that supports institutional performance efficiency, manages technology-related risks, and promotes compliance with applicable organizational and security requirements, contributing to the achievement of the University’s digital sustainability objectives and strategic goals.
The Unit also monitors the implementation of best practices and approved standards in governance and compliance, fosters integration and coordination with relevant entities, and helps ensure the quality, reliability, and continuity of IT operations and services. In addition, it is committed to building an agile and structured technology environment that supports digital transformation and innovation, enhances institutional maturity, and drives excellence in technical and academic services.
