Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University’s Enterprise Architecture Governance Committee convened its 27th meeting, chaired by His Excellency the University Vice Rector, Prof. Hamad bin Nasser Al-Turaiki, as part of the University’s ongoing efforts to strengthen enterprise architecture governance and advance its implementation in accordance with nationally adopted frameworks and best practices.
During the meeting, Committee members reviewed and discussed feedback on several enterprise architecture documents, including the Enterprise Architecture Operating Model, Enterprise Architecture Principles, and the General Charter for the Enterprise Architecture Development Lifecycle. The discussions aimed to further refine and enhance these documents in preparation for their formal adoption within the University’s institutional governance framework.
The Committee also reviewed the Enterprise Architecture Progress Report, which highlighted key performance indicators, recent developments related to the Enterprise Architecture Office, and progress made in implementing enterprise architecture initiatives and activities.
In addition, the Committee considered a number of recommendations presented on the meeting agenda, including the approval of enterprise architecture documents and recommendations related to the progress of enterprise architecture initiatives. These measures support the continuity of development efforts and contribute to advancing the University’s institutional maturity.
The meeting reflects the University’s commitment to implementing the National Enterprise Architecture methodology and strengthening alignment between institutional strategy, business operations, and technology systems. Such efforts contribute to enhancing operational efficiency, improving service delivery, and supporting the objectives of digital transformation in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
