The General Administration of IT Holds a Training Workshop on Design Thinking for Digital Innovation

The Digital Innovation Unit at the General Administration of IT organized a training workshop titled “The Innovation Journey through Design Thinking,” presented by Ms. Sarah Aljameeah, as part of a series of programs delivered by the Unit to develop the team’s skills in designing digital solutions and improving work methodologies.
The workshop covered several core themes, including the principles of design thinking, methods for analyzing user needs, and experience design. It also addressed a set of challenges faced by the University’s staff, alongside practical applications and exercises aimed at creating digital solutions that help tackle these challenges.
This workshop supports Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University’s drive to foster innovation and enable work teams to adopt flexible and evolving methodologies aligned with the University’s strategic directions in digital innovation.
The workshop witnessed notable engagement from participants through discussions of real-world models and field applications, which contributed to raising the team’s readiness and enhancing its ability to apply design thinking methodologies and ideation to support digital innovation initiatives.
