As part of Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University's efforts to enhance innovation skills, support digital transformation initiatives, and adopt emerging technologies in designing innovative solutions to address the challenges facing the university community, the Digital Innovation Unit within the General Directorate of Information Technology conducted a training workshop titled "From Idea to Prototype" on Monday, December 1, 2025. This workshop, held in collaboration with the Intellectual Awareness Unit, was part of a series of introductory workshops for participants in the Intellectual Empowerment Hackathon, aimed at developing innovative solutions.
The workshop focused on the essential steps for transforming ideas into viable prototypes. It reviewed methodologies for designing digital solutions and techniques for generating innovative ideas, thereby enhancing participants' abilities to develop prototypes and projects with practical value within the university.
