The Enterprise Architecture Office at Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University is working on a series of studies on emerging technologies as part of its efforts to monitor technological developments and support decisions related to digital transformation and innovation programs.
The office explained that the studies currently underway examine the impact of modern technologies—including artificial intelligence, blockchain, advanced cloud computing, and the Internet of Things—on the university's academic and administrative environments, with the aim of identifying opportunities for improvement and enhancing technological readiness.
The office indicated that these studies support strategic planning needs and align with the university's direction in developing digital practices and linking projects to national strategic and governance objectives, as well as future technologies.
