Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the General Administration of Information Technology, has launched a new digital service dedicated to faculty promotion applications. The service aims to streamline the process of applying for promotion to the rank of Associate Professor or Professor through a unified digital platform fully integrated with the University’s internal systems.
The service enables faculty members to submit promotion requests through clear and simplified steps, supported by precise mechanisms for tracking applications, facilitating communication with reviewers, and enhancing the quality of scholarly output assessment—thereby strengthening the efficiency and effectiveness of the University’s academic promotion system.
The General Administration of Information Technology affirmed that the launch of this service comes as part of the University’s ongoing efforts toward digital transformation and the development of advanced e-services for its staff. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency, reduce time and effort, and provide an improved user experience that meets institutional expectations.
