The General Administration of Information Technology held an extended meeting on Monday, February 16, in the administration’s conference room, chaired by the Director General, Mr. Waleed bin Mohammed Al‑Sulaitin, and attended by department and unit managers.
During the meeting, participants reviewed the most notable achievements of the past period and discussed the approved strategic plans and operational objectives for the year 2026. They also explored ways to further develop the technical work ecosystem and enhance the efficiency of the digital infrastructure in support of digital transformation initiatives and to improve the quality of services provided to beneficiaries.
The meeting additionally touched on priority future projects and the mechanisms for implementing them according to defined timelines, while emphasizing the importance of strengthening information security, enhancing technical readiness, and ensuring business continuity.
Mr. Waleed Al‑Sulaitin stressed the importance of teamwork and collective effort to achieve the administration’s goals. He also highlighted the need to adhere to performance indicators and periodic follow‑up mechanisms to ensure the effective and efficient execution of the 2026 plans.
The meeting concluded with an agreement on a phased follow‑up plan to monitor progress, contributing to institutional excellence and supporting the advancement of the university’s technical development efforts.
