Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University, represented by the General Administration of IT, has announced the launch of the Innovation Hackathon—a flagship initiative designed to attract creative minds and tech talents, and motivate them to leverage data and emerging technologies in developing smart solutions that drive real and sustainable impact.
Organizing the hackathon comes as part of the University’s efforts to foster a culture of innovation, support technological creativity, and empower participants to develop their ideas and transform them into viable projects. The initiative provides an interactive, competitive environment that brings together specialists and enthusiasts in technology, data, and innovation.
The University explained that submissions will be accepted via the Innovation Hackathon platform from 27 January 2026 to 12 February 2026. The platform enables interested participants to register, submit their ideas, and take part in the announced challenges. The University has also allocated valuable prizes for the top three winners to encourage outstanding participation and promote impactful, innovative solutions.
The launch of the Innovation Hackathon reflects Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University’s commitment to supporting technological and innovative initiatives and building a knowledge‑driven community that nurtures creativity.
