University President Chairs Final Meeting of the E-Transactions Committee for 2025

On Tuesday, December 30, 2025 (10 Rajab 1447 AH), His Excellency Prof. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Tamimi, President of the University and Chairman of the E-Transactions Committee, presided over the committee’s final meeting for the year 2025, attended by its members.
The meeting reviewed the university’s results in the 13th Digital Transformation Measurement for 2025, issued by the Digital Government Authority. Mr. Waleed bin Mohammed Al-Sulaitin, Director of the General Administration of Information Technology, presented the key efforts undertaken by the university, represented by the IT department, to improve the digital transformation index. He also highlighted the gaps and challenges faced by the team during this cycle, discussed the recommendations and observations from the Digital Government Authority’s report, and reviewed the remediation plan along with the initiatives and projects required to support its implementation. Additionally, the readiness of the team for the upcoming measurement was emphasized.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the University President expressed his appreciation for the remarkable progress, integration, and maturity achieved in the university’s e-services. He stressed the importance of addressing the observations in the report effectively to achieve satisfactory results in the 2026 measurement, in line with the university’s rapid advancements in digital transformation.
